Diane Atherton has been an RN for more than 30 years.

Her travels have taken her all over the United States and the Orient.

She graduated from high school in Japan, went to nursing school in Hawaii, Florida, Georgia, completing her BSN at the Medical College in Georgia.

Once her children had been raised, she struck out for the far west, where she rekindled her passion for photography. She happily combines her profession and her passion, sometimes with overlapping joy.

She has produced a line of greeting cards, fine art posters, as well as having done commercial photography for restaurants and private business.

She is currently one of the nursing managers for Saint Mary's Hospital in Reno.
